Much work has been carried out in the field adjacent to the site known as Martley Rock. Apart from the original trenching in February 2010 that initiated the whole idea of a society and the bid (successful) for European LEADER funds that led to the development of the site, when the original trenches were re-made, there have been three other temporary trenchings into the field.  Each has been photographed, logged and the findings written up by Bill Barclay and his team.  This page provides links to these.
