The Geo-Village is an ongoing, exciting concept for communities with significant local geology.  Harnessing local enthusaism to discover and conserve this geology, it is used as an asset to attract visitors who will bring in spending power.  Strongly linked and promoted are offerings from all possible local producers and crafts people who in turn develop the marketing mix for the new found visitors.
